Tina Fiveash I photo artist
news

Tina is currently working on a new series, exploring the expression of human emotions through moving stills photography - animation and lenticular.

Using multiple sequential photo stills, Tina weaves together trajectories of love, loneliness, human connection and disconnection, and the spiritual connection we share with nature, which binds all living things together. (see photo top right).

Plans are underway to travel to Europe in 2008 to research and study into both the history and contemporary practise of animated photography.

In August 2007 Tina held a solo exhibition at Kudos Gallery in Sydney, where she exhibited her latest series of work, Camera Mortuaria. This series of work features twenty close-up, life-size, anaglyptic (3-D) photo portraits of anonymous subjects, whom appear startlingly real when viewed through anaglyptic (3-D) glasses. (see photo below right).

In May 2007, one of Tina's anaglyptic portraits from Camera Mortuaria, was selected as a finalist in the 2007 Josephine Ulrick & Win Schubert Photography Award, where it received a commended award.
